Joint exhibition with Dmitry Annenkov in Stavern, Norway, at Sensorium Gallery.
This was my first exhibition in Norway and my first encounter with this beautiful country. Everything about the trip felt new and unusual. Norway greeted us with a severe, refined beauty, but the people who came to the exhibition surprised us no less. For the first time, despite pouring rain, we saw a queue forming for the show. Visitors viewed the paintings with genuine interest and said many warm, generous words to us. The printed materials ran out within the first three hours after the opening, and the gallery owner, Marina Walle Jensen, had to arrange an additional print run for the following days of the exhibition.
The interest in painting in this country surpassed all my expectations. After getting to know Norway better, I was left with many warm memories.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to Mrs. Marina Walle Jensen and her husband, Mr. Trond Walle Jensen, for their warm hospitality and for creating such a wonderful atmosphere for the artists and guests of the exhibition.
